EP review.
Artist : Man
Title : Mojo Train
Label : Point PNTGZ101 EP (2018)

Available on their latest UK tour, which culminated at a blistering show at Sin City in their Swansea hometown, Mojo Train is a return to form for the band and fans of the legendary Welsh rockers will be delighted with this taster for the new album – due out in early 2019.
Man these days features Martin Ace, his son Josh, James Beck and, newest member, Shane Dixon on drums. The younger members carry the weight and drive the momentum during the live shows but Martin holds the stage and effortlessly makes it his own as he relives past glories and fan favourites.
But back to the EP ! Four brand new tracks (including two demos) which will feature on the new long player, ‘Anachronism Tango’. The pounding bass is there alongside a very Man-like riff – we’ve even got echoes of older songs from the vast back catalogue – but best of all is the Rick Griffin band logo emblazoned across the sleeve. It’s true what they say you know – Many are called but few get up !

Tracks : Manor Farm / The Holy Flame Of Freedom / Mojo Yattaken / Last Train Home.
